I work in various fields, print and digital, but always with a strong emphasis on typography: publication design, book covers, posters, signage systems, ephemera, identity, work for type designers, foundries and related companies. If you need more illustrative, image-based or technically complex interactive work, I may refer you or recommend a colleague.
Since I’m currently holding an additional, pretty demanding administrative position at my university, I can only take on work that has a flexible time frame (typographic design work and short texts). Longer and involved research projects may be tricky but of course I’m happy to discuss and curious to hear your ideas anyway.
This is also why I may not be able to help you for free with your personal research or school project right now. If I am thrilled by the topic and can afford the time, I will likely drop everything but I can’t promise or may not be able to get back to you in a timely manner. Please don’t take it amiss if I don’t reply or only very tersely.
If you have a speaking inquiry, I’m happy to talk at your event if I have the time, but I would need all travel expenses covered and ask for a speaking fee in the range of the price of two tickets to your event. Unless I’m really really really into your organisation, event, or mission, then we can negotiate payment in kind or barter.
